To All Authorized Distributors, Dealers, and Business Partners,
DIGIRAY Corporation hereby issues this formal notice regarding the discontinuation of the FireCR Spark (Flash) Computed Radiography system, effective from the date of this communication. This decision has not been taken lightly, and we wish to convey our deepest appreciation to all authorized distributors and dealers who have entrusted this product as part of their business.


1. Reasons for Discontinuation
After a thorough review of market conditions and supply chain viability, DIGIRAY Corporation has identified two primary factors necessitating this decision:
  • Significant Decline in Market Demand: Market demand for the FireCR Spark (Flash) has experienced a sustained and substantial decline over recent periods, reflecting broader industry trends toward newer imaging modalities and evolving clinical requirements. The continued production of this model is no longer commercially or operationally viable.
  • Discontinuation of Key Raw Materials and Component Supply: Several critical raw materials and key components essential to the manufacturing of the FireCR Spark (Flash) have been officially discontinued by their respective suppliers. This has resulted in severe supply shortages that render continued production impossible without compromising our stringent quality and safety standards.


2. Warranty Obligations to Authorized Distributors and Dealers
DIGIRAY Corporation wishes to assure all Channel Partners that the discontinuation of the FireCR Spark (Flash) does not affect the warranty commitments established under your respective agreements with DIGIRAY. All units purchased from DIGIRAY prior to the effective date of this notice remain covered by the original warranty terms and conditions as agreed at the time of purchase, and DIGIRAY will continue to honour these obligations fully for the duration of each applicable warranty period.
Specifically, the following warranty commitments remain in place for Channel Partners:
  • Warranty Period Remains Valid: The warranty period applicable to each unit sold to a Channel Partner continues to run for its originally agreed duration, without modification or curtailment as a result of this discontinuation.
  • Warranty Repair and Parts Support: During the valid warranty period, DIGIRAY will continue to provide warranty services and parts supplies to Channel Partners, in accordance with the terms set out in the applicable purchase or distribution agreement.
  • Point of Contact for Warranty Claims: Channel Partners with warranty claims or service requests should continue to contact their designated DIGIRAY regional representative or our service team through the established channels. All valid claims will be processed with the same priority and care as before.


3. Spare Parts and Service Support
DIGIRAY Corporation fully recognizes its responsibilities to existing Channel Partners and remains committed to ensuring continuity of operations and minimizing operational disruption. In accordance with applicable international medical device standards and regulatory requirements — including, but not limited to, the European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDD 93/42) and equivalent global frameworks — DIGIRAY will ensure the continued availability of spare parts and repair components for the FireCR Spark (Flash) for a defined period following the effective date of this notice.
Channel Partners and authorized service partners will be notified of the applicable service support end date through a separate communication. During this period, our technical service teams and authorized service network will remain fully operational to address maintenance, repair, and technical support requests.


4. Recommended Next Steps
We strongly encourage all Channel Partners to review their current inventory and sales commitments relating to the FireCR Spark (Flash) and to plan accordingly for a timely transition. DIGIRAY's sales and technical consultants are available to discuss suitable upgrade pathways and replacement solutions tailored to your specific business and operational needs.
